Perfectionism

Haven't been posting for a looooong time...
Sorry people. Sorry to myself. For not updating. As Frequently. As I would like.
Had a chat with someone (^^^) the other day...
I might be a perfectionist.
OKAY DON'T LAUGH!
As wikipedia (amen) defined, perfectionism can be thought of as: The persistence of will in obtaining the optimal present and future quality of spiritual, mental, physical, and material being.
Those who have been into my room or study(ied) the same classes with me WILL say that i do not show any characteristic of being a perfectionist.
Because, i'm messy-dirty-lazy-procrastinate-ing person.
A perfectionist cannot all that, right?
Well, wrong.
In my case, my perfectionistic needs are so intense, that i rather not do anything, than do something imperfect.
(Applicable up to when the flood reaches the eyebrows, e.g. assignments almost due, exam is tomorrow, DBKL threatens to seal my room because of its filthyness, and so on and so forth)
It's just like in this case of blogging.
I have nothing/no mood to write therefore I don't write for fear of writing something sucky.
But now, when everyone threatens not to visit my blog anymore [okie la not threaten, already don't visit already :( ], i HAVE to blog something out by hook or crook...
It's like I set a minimum standard that i need to achieve, and if i don't think i can achieve it, i won't want to start doing it.
Case #1: Tropical Aquatic Biology report
Sets high standard (wanna get high marks)
> glances at the data/work involved
> don't wanna do coz hard to achive the standard/perfectness

> HAVE TO DO IMMEDIATELY DY COS TMR MUST PASSUP :(
And while doing the assignment, i insist on writing out what i think i should write out, even though it's impossible to actually find enough information to write. And when i can't do that part, I'll just stop. And not continue until I accidently find out that another half an hour have passed.
Only then i'd force myself to skip that part (boohoohoo lost marks *kiasukiasu*)
SEE? I'm a perfectionist!
And when blogging, I set this 'standard' of having to write funny/interesting stuff or uploading photos, and if i don't feel funny and have no photos to upload, i just don't blog...
Perfectionism, right?
Or maybe, i'm just plain L-A-Z-Y.
