Sense of Humour

World Cup Ramblings: I hate the Swiss. I am not going to wear my
Swiss-made watch until World Cup is over. I hate them. They beat Korea
2-0.
I'm through with the semester exams (!).
Still adjusting to my 'exam-lag' (i.e. wide awake at night and sleepy in the day), i aimlessly (mindlessly as well) surfed the net for unimportant stuff and read even more unimportant blogs until i saw this...

Kenny Sia was writing a parody about the inflation in Malaysia. I sniggered to myself when i saw the photoshopped protest signs.
I then clicked on the comment box and saw this

And then i laughed till tears ran down my cheeks....
Two similarly funny things, yet i am so much more tickled by the 'wordy, texty' version of it.
I have a weird sense of humour.

Exams the Dread!

Woke up at 9 a.m. today with a horrible horibble sneezing fit. More accurately, i was woken up by my horrible sneezing fit. I sneezed (tempted to use the word SNAZ... is there such a word?) every 30 seconds for about half an hour or so... do the math and it will show that i sneezed for about 60 times in total. How awful.
Had to ignore blogging for a few weeks to prepare for my exams. It's no easy feat to cram 5 months worth of lecture in one week (or two days for some of the subjects scheduled unbelievably close to each other... *bleh*)
When facing with exams, i will usually feel very guilty about playing hooky and skipping lectures throughout the semester. Too great is the temptation to just forgo boring lectures in favour of my bed, especially the lectures that are held in the wee hours of the morning (8 a.m. wtf?). But no use crying over spilt milk. (Note to self: attend more lectures next semester!)
Reflecting on my year and a half in Uni, i cannot help but feel eerily worried about my progress thus far. Is it just me or i haven't yet learn enough to be worthy of a 2nd year student? I cannot help but feel that i have not done enough justice to exorbitant course fees.
*ponders about future*
But enough about my pitiful laments.
Time to watch the World Cup matches :).
Oh, and then study a bit for my ecology paper. My last paper :)
Will blog more in a few days when i'm done with exams.
